Mendes Junior Trading Engenharia S.A. filed petition for judicial recovery with the court of justice of the state of Minas Gerais on March 7th, 2016.
The company has been impacted by the credit restrictions and low investments since the end of 2014, as a result of the current state of the Brazilian economy. This situation has caused the company to have difficulties in meeting its financial commitments.
Although, Mendes Júnior Trading e Engenharia S.A. has unceasingly tried to reverse this situation, the company believes that the Judicial Recovery is the appropriate option to rebalance its economic and financial situation in order to preserve the interests of creditors, clients, suppliers, employees and other partners to continue the company´s operation and continuity of its contracts.
