Serra Azul System Dam

The water supply system for the Belo Horizonte metropolitan region exists today due to Mendes Júnior’s efforts. The company was responsible for civil construction works and electromechanical assembly of the raw water pumping station of the Serra Azul System in the municipality of Mateus Leme. The large system has 2.7 m³/s of capacity and a maximum head of 116 meters.
